Our dedicated Social Care Workers are committed to improving the lives of our clients. A rigorous selection process begins with identity checking and validates their qualifications and previous care experience. Only when sound references and satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Baring Service are received will a carer be matched for compatibility with a client. We provide our carers with ongoing internal and external training overseen by our in-house training team.

We recognise that the client’s primary carer may have issues, needs and areas of concern that differ to those of the client, in relation to the client. We believe these needs should be assessed, understood and, if possible, met, without compromise to the client’s desires, needs and preferences.

We aim to offer a person-centred approach to our service delivery, underpinned by two key principles:

• A personalised approach delivered with our focus on maintaining and enhancing a quality of life identified by the client (or indeed their family) for whom we are providing care.
• Our service will be outcome focused, rather than task, or activity. By this we mean that we intend to agree with the client (&/or their family) what are the outcomes that they and therefore we want to achieve and then address how best we can achieve those outcomes.
